Since today is a leap day, last seen four years ago and not to be repeated for another four years, here’s a memory and a wish.
Memory, 2012: I was nearly a year into my job working for some amazing nuns, just starting the acquisitions process for Ten Commandments for Kissing Gloria Jean. A couple of months later, I went to a NESCBWI conference in Springfield, MA, and played around in the Dr. Seuss sculpture park.
Wish, 2020: Wow, does that feel like the darn future. Lots of personal hopes, as well as one political one. Writing wise, I hope the WIP I shared on Feb. 4 is published and selling well, along with some other book babies either due or in the works. The theme of those is this:
